• Communications: Any messages or communications you send within the App (e.g., chat, support requests).

Information We Collect Automatically:

• Location Information: With your consent, we collect precise location data (via Bluetooth or GPS) to enable proximity detection and matching with nearby users, and for safety features like geo-fencing and identifying safe zones.
• Device Information: Information about the device you use to access the App, including device type, operating system (iOS or Android), unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Usage Information: Details about how you use the App, such as features accessed, interactions within the App, search queries, and timestamps.
• Log Data: Server logs may include your IP address, access times, and crash data.

2. How We Use Your Information

To Provide and Maintain the App:

• Creating and managing your account and profile.
• Enabling core features like proximity detection and matching based on your profile inputs and preferences.
• Facilitating unique connection profiles, logging meetup details, and providing shared codes/colors for identification.
• Delivering notifications and real-time updates.

To Ensure Safety and Security:

• User Validation: Verifying your email address and mobile number (Tier 1 and Tier 2 validation).
• Implementing age verification based on your date of birth to ensure users are 18 and above.
• Using geo-fencing and Google Maps integration to identify and suggest safe meeting locations and restrict functionality in unsafe zones.
• Operating the 'kill switch' feature for safety.
• Monitoring for fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

To Improve and Personalize the App:

• Analyzing usage patterns to enhance features and user experience.
• Customizing your experience with personalized color themes for meetups.
• Reviewing and integrating appropriate user-generated connection segments into standard offerings.

• Sending important updates, security alerts, and support messages (e.g., validation errors via in-app inbox).

With Other ProxiMeet Users:

• Your profile information (name, profile picture, "About Me," needs/offerings, age verification status) will be visible to other users for matching purposes.
• When a connection is made, basic meetup details and shared codes/colors are displayed to both parties.
• Your precise location is only shared with nearby matches when the App is actively used for seeking or offering interactions.

With Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as:

• Firebase: For authentication, database management (Firestore), and potentially cloud storage for profile pictures.
• Email Sending Service: For sending verification emails.
• SMS Sending Service: For sending SMS OTPs.
• Google Maps: For location-based safety features.

Note: We commit that sensitive data is encrypted and not shared with any third-party platform for purposes beyond the direct functionality of the App.

For Legal Reasons: If required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).

Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company.
