Child Safety Standards

Proximeet Technologies Inc. ("ProxiMeet," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to the safety of children. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in connection with the ProxiMeet mobile application (the "App") and our services. These standards apply to everyone who uses the App and are published in accordance with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy.

1. Our Standards Against CSAE

We prohibit any use of the App to harm, endanger, sexualize, or exploit a child. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation:

Any violation of these standards results in immediate removal of the offending content, termination of the associated account, and, where appropriate, preservation of evidence and reporting to law enforcement and relevant child safety authorities.

2. In-App Reporting

ProxiMeet provides an in-app mechanism for users to report concerns, including profiles, messages, or behavior that may involve CSAE, without leaving the App. Reports relating to child safety are treated with the highest priority. Concerns can also be sent to us directly at developer@proximeet.ca.

3. How We Address CSAM

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM on the App, we will:

4. Compliance With Child Safety Laws

We comply with applicable child safety and mandatory reporting laws in the regions where the App operates, including Canada's An Act respecting the mandatory reporting of Internet child pornography by persons who provide an Internet service, and we cooperate with law enforcement investigations and lawful requests relating to child safety.

5. Designated Child Safety Point of Contact

Our designated point of contact is prepared to discuss our CSAM prevention practices and compliance with these standards:

6. If a Child Is in Immediate Danger

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police or emergency services first. You can also report online child sexual exploitation to Cybertip.ca (Canada) or NCMEC's CyberTipline (United States and international).
